I'm not sure what this is, a sewing bobbin and pin heads? I'd like to see it sharper. Maybe with some better lighting it would be better.

Manhattan shot from, where, the Top of the Rock? Nice composition and it works very well in B&W.

The chain link fence really detracts from an otherwise pretty picture. I guess the blue is the alone subject, but it's right on the edge and is not sharp.

Nice shot. I would like to see him looking at tombstones but with this shot I can't tell that. Either if you stepped back a ways or had his in the same pose behind some of those headstones it would be better IMHO.

Good idea. I saw another that looked much like this. Other than motionless vs blurred motion she does not stand out from the others as much as the other photo and I don't see the hopelessness. She looks like she has a lot going for her.

Unfortunately this looks a lot like a snapshot. I'm not sure if the alone is the adult amongst the kids or the group alone looking at the city. Too bad it's not that clear a day. Good composition.

Nice shot. I was thinking of doing something like this, probably in an airport terminal or mall, but never got it done. I like the introspective stare, hiding under a hoodie, and of course the steady image vs the blurred passers by.

in a crowd of barrels? I'm not sure how it meets the challenge. Nice scene though that has a lot of potential for other challenges. The light through the window is blown out, but it's hard to get the indoors without blowing out the outside light.
