This was one of the first shots I took for the day trip, but sadly, the sun and the windows in the buildings never lined up quite right again.
The photos all had to be taken from beyond a fence, so this was the only angle available.

in a crowd of barrels? I'm not sure how it meets the challenge. Nice scene though that has a lot of potential for other challenges. The light through the window is blown out, but it's hard to get the indoors without blowing out the outside light.

great work with natural light, bump up

What's alone in the crowd?
12/04/2007 02:23:44 PM
nice shot

don't get the relevance.

nice warm feel to the image, but otherwise quite uninteresting.

I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick here - but I'm really struggling to see what's alone here, and what crowd it's alone from ?

I did wonder if it was the metal winch - but there are other metal tools on the wall . . and I wondered if it was the wooden tub in the middle but there are two other tubs as well . . Interesting workshop though.

i don't think it will.. 4
overexposed window is distracting, and I cannot tell what is the main subject

Sorry but to me this DNMC.

BEAUTIFUL picture... But how does it fit the challenge? I see that more light falls on one bucket (or you dodged it) but is it enough? I really like this pic though.

I do not understand how this is being alone in a crowd?
11/28/2007 08:49:06 PM
Very nice. Watch the blown highlights in the window, its a little distracting. Meter on the window, set the flash for the room.
11/28/2007 03:59:26 PM
To answer your title, "no". I can't see who or what is "alone".
11/28/2007 02:02:28 PM
huh
11/28/2007 01:10:26 PM
very nice

I don't get how it relates to the challenge.

It's not clear to me what is alone here. The barrel in the center seems to be the focal point, as it is the most brightly lit object.

I really love your picture. But i do not see who is the lonely one here? It looks very cosy and united here :)
11/28/2007 11:35:03 AM
not seeing this as alone in the crowd...? nice photo a 5
11/28/2007 07:21:14 AM
I like the warm color, but the object does not isolate itself from the rest. I can see that you are trying to play the lighting. I wish the surrounding is darker.
11/28/2007 07:07:38 AM
I like it but it does not fit the theme
11/28/2007 02:41:08 AM
The main subject being? I;m a little lost.
11/28/2007 12:39:41 AM
No, no it won't.
