The chain link fence really detracts from an otherwise pretty picture. I guess the blue is the alone subject, but it's right on the edge and is not sharp.

Where's the blue? I almost missed it, could you bring the blue up more with different crop. My eye is not drawn to it. I like the contrast!

The idea is good and the blue certainly stands out. Getting a better focus on the blue leaf would have improved the photo a lot.

Nice colors but the image is lacking sharpness.

Try using the Save For Web function in photoshop, from there you can set your image size to 640 pixels and the file size to as close to the 150 kb size limit. Here is a little DPC tutorial to help you through it. Hope this helps you out.

Nice idea... I can see the message you're shooting. The fence and some of the other leaves, however, are too close in color to the blue 'subject'.

The fence really adds too much clutter. The image is very noisy. Is this a cellphone picture?

This seems to be noisey and a bit oof.

My suggestion would have been to have it further afield or more closely following rule of thirds.

I am just not feeling this ... it doesn't have any pop to it ... the background is just a pixilated mass of pink blue and white looks like there may be noise issues ... but I cant really tell... Yyyyyeah .... I got nothin

To distracting with the fence.

The blue "thing" is too low at the frame causing the composition fail. The fence in the foreground is simply distracting.

Lack of focus, clarity, thought and presence of noise and the fence...doesent do it for me.
11/29/2007 01:58:23 AM
Just feels cluttered.

The grain does not help this image at all. The fence is very distracting. Your idea is good, but it just did not come together in this shot. Keep shooting!

Overprocessed and OOF
11/28/2007 03:38:14 PM
This is a very noisy image
11/28/2007 01:37:28 PM
lacking focal point

What did you do to get this color? It makes for a very nice field of leaves. It is too bad you couldn't be on the other side of that fence!

poorly exposed, a 3
