The geometry is good, but the tilt adds a bit of needed kick to keep the eye from becoming too relaxed. Good choice there. I like the textures and shadows too.

So effectively composed, though I could have done without the heavy contrast lift, most apparent in the background (the distant tree branches). I'll bet it was perfect right out of the camera.

Simple and understated. I'm not sure the long frame was necessary. I do like the A shape in the clouds -- offers some relief from the horizontal bands.

I do like the nervous energy in this. The moment the eye feels like it can latch onto something, there's a jolt and the eye is loose again.
