Espressoby ThorsgodhiComment: I like how the curves in the background miror the curve of the bean. The glare of the lights really blows out the details on the bean, and the bean isn't in focus. |

Mirrored Scentsby qwerty_314Comment: Fun combination - I particularly like the way the yellow bottle reflects some of the green bottle. The crop feels a bit random - why cut the gree bottle there? Why not include it all like the yellow one? Doesn't seem tack sharp. |

Cigar Smokeby hopperComment: Lovely smoke. I like your diagonal composition. I'm not sure about the smoke going outside the frame at the top - true that cigar smoke (and the smell) will not be confined, but this little bit of smoke is too half-hearted. Also I'd like to see the cigar - or at least a glowing tip. |

The Torch Of Freedomby GeneralEComment: An interesting idea, worthy of thanks. Wish your model were lit betterand in better focus, and I could see on her face how she feels about the freedom she is charged with. Where is she going with it? What will she do with it? I get the light in the darkness and the seriousness, but I need more. |

My son Jamesby NeuferlandComment: A classic Thanksgiving candid. One for the album, show those first girlfriends. But technicaly it is a bit lacking. The flash is bright and glaring and picks out details in the busy background that pull our eye away from the face, and leaves bold shadows in an unnatural way. The focus is a bit off. His hand is cropped in the left in an odd way. You've captured a moment, but not in any planed out way. |

Friend Chrisby undieyatchComment: You've got an interresting glow in your lighting - unearthly. The shadow over his eye hides the details of what looks like a soft peaceful look. I'm not sure of your choice of the blinds in the background - his face is so natural and organic, and they are so angular. I'd like to see more of his head to the right and less of the blinds. |

My son Leifurby tyrkinnComment: Leifur the Lucky! I hope! Til hamingju. What a rosey charmer! I love the half a wink and that baby smile. The light has captured that beautiful soft baby skin. You've maximized his face, and minimized the background - good - but wish we could have the top of his head too. |

Thanks for this world!by AlexysComment: peaceful colors. I like the atmopheric effect the blurred motion of the tree and the waves gives. The balance is a bit off for me... I'd like to see the whole tree and more of the beach. There is just too much sky, and the moon doesn't fill it being so small and blurry. |
