water Girlby tolovemoonComment: Being close in and filling the frame with your subject works nicely here. I could see crpping even a bit more on top and bottom. I'm not sure I'd really call this macro, but I do some nice details in the subject. It would be more subtle and interesting with less harsh light - a gray day instead of bright sunshine. |

Bug in the Systemby BobsterLobsterComment: I very much like the novelty of your idea. The diagonal composition is very pleasing too, The lighting lacks a bit - too harsh at the top and right and too dark at the bottom and left. I wish I could see more detail in the bug, and that the lighting highlighted it more. |

Metal Diceby TanveerhawkComment: I'm sure this is very small - but I'd liketo have some comparison to see just how small - a familiar background that gives some idea of scale or perhaps the corner of another familiar object - a regular die perhaps? I like the detail I see in a tiny part of the top corner, but I wish you had a greater depth of field so the whole thing could be sharp, would work better for a metal object. |

Care For A "Little" Beer?by TommyMoe21Comment: Nice idea. Good focus, good color. The background is a bit pink - I'd like to see it white. I'd also crop the left hand side all that white space just pulls the eye away I think. You could ven crop so that nothing put the mouth of the bottle was showing - perhaps a bit drastic but I like the way it would look, cleaner and focused. |

I shall call him... MiniMeby dan_pendletonComment: Dynamically precious! Those blue eyes! Those tiny claws! And mama's motherly proud look. This must have been hard to set up - and yet you have not only a great subject (challenge or no challenge) but well composed, lit and focused. This photo goes way beyond a "cat picture" and should draw lots of positive comments. Good Luck! 10 |

gazing ball by SeanachaiComment: Fabulous! All technical aspects are well done, and artistically it is entrancing. Especially nice touch having the footprints. Want to know what you did with the camera... |

Notepad Leaves by arpitaComment: This is such a simple image, but I can only imagine how difficult it was to get the lighting right to acheive these abstract forms. Truely an everyday object seen in a new light! A favorite of mine for the challenge.9 |

Lost Childhoodby mocabelaComment: Reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit. I like the subtle duotone - just the color of a faded teddy bear. Nice dark shadows in the grass and good grass texture - both work as a good back drop to the bear. I especiallly like the wistful expression on the bear's face. 9 |

Chocolate Whirlby boomerComment: I like the motion in this! Creative. I also like how the silver reflects the chocolate color so you get all those little lines with chocolate tones. If you had held it still for part of the exposure would you get more definition and a more solid sense of the beater and the chocoate as well as the motion? Or a flash to stop the motion and get a solid image on top of the blur? 6 |

Chocolate Kisses - Want One?by ccaseyComment: Fabulous! Great color, combination on subjects, wonderful lighting. My only wish would be to have her against a flat dark ground - the texture of the grass competes with her hair. 9 |
