Breaking Throughby BlinksComment: A lovely sky. I like the sliver of horizon it "grounds" the picture. Colors are a bit purple for my taste - feels a bit unnatural. |

Beauty queenby LalliSigComment: The septer is a nice touch - makes this photo stand out from other portraits. Wish we could see either more or less of her dress, the bit peeking into the frame draws your eyes away from her face. |

bleedingby undieyatchComment: I like the subtle pink cast to the flowers - accents the texture and the light glowing through the petals. I litke the progression from left to right. Could be a tiny bit sharper, but it is very lovely as is. 8 |

Near the Endby cabaComment: Nice diagonal in the composition. I like the rays of light. |

Complementsby banmornComment: Nice colors, light - beautiful flowers. A bit soft - I'd enjoy a crisper focus with such crisp colors. Composition is a awkward as the iris leans over the gerber. |

annaby peeteComment: Dynamic and bright - her blowing hair leads the eye in from the white of the backfround and the coat right to her face and bright white smile. Works very well. Wish hair wasn't quite so much in her face on the right. No need for the frame - photo stands well on its own. |

Father Skyby ElGordoComment: What a fabulous sky. I like the drama of the range of light. I wish the foreground were compelling enough to balance the sky or simple enough to not distract from it. Here the wires and scattered small buildings just draw the eye away and they are nothing to look at on their own. Perhaps finding one lone building and compose it to one side or the other would work? |

Esposa...by TerramarComment: Very soft light, gentle colors - gives you a feel for the beauty of the person. That feeling contrasts dramatically with the composition - the abrupt croping of the face. I am conflicted between thinking it enhances the softness by comparison or is too jarring for the softness of the subject. Technically the lighting and focus and detail are lovely.

Strike a Poseby typologicComment: All these cat pictures are just fabulous! I love how relaxed and natural your cat looks in front of the camera. I also love the lighting - really brings out the texture and warmth of the fur and the glow and personality in the eyes! |

Imminentby soupComment: I didn't see this during the challenge - I'm glad you posted it in the bubble thread. A very enjoyable image. I like the color and the complexity of the background - everything feels very threatening to that perfect little bubble. Well thought-out and executed! |
