well composed - has a painted feel... I keep returning to take a look. One of my ribbon picks this challenge

The composition is "different". I'm craving to see the rest of her face, tho! That smile is entriguing, and I want to know what the other eye is doing! :o) As is, a 6, but what does the rest of her face look like?

The simplicity of this photo keeps drawing me to it. I like the soft feel the image has too.

Obviously competent stuff - I fear I find such games with composition rather dull, however.

Makes me wonder what she is looking at. As far as beauty well she is beautiful. Well shot.

Very soft light, gentle colors - gives you a feel for the beauty of the person. That feeling contrasts dramatically with the composition - the abrupt croping of the face. I am conflicted between thinking it enhances the softness by comparison or is too jarring for the softness of the subject. Technically the lighting and focus and detail are lovely.

Where's she going. Looks like this model is walking out of the image. Although this is a very attractive or beautiful model, and the photo techniques seem nice with some very warm but washed out colors, this image falters in my opion because my eye and my mind sees her leaving the image. <4>

I see what you are trying, but even though I gave you an average score check this out //www.photoblink.com/imageview.asp?imageid=149495&cid=22&groupby=subjectid&value=8&period=yesterday&page=1

blacks and whites good, color ok, skin tone washed a bit, interesting comp, a bit soft, ok over all

not sure if your border helps this composition.

Very good, I like the idea but it would be better in my opinion if she would be looking into the picture.

Different approach is good in this challenge, leave the other half for the imagination, that's clever...

I really like the composition on this, but would liked to have seen more of her face. Also the face could have been sharper.

I'd rather see the whole face.
