15th Centuryby lsmartComment: With many pictures in the competition being high contrast and high drama, I especially like the peace and gentle light in this photo. You found a lovely golden rose light and worked to make it fill the atmosphere of the photo creating a feel of stepingout of time - perfect with the subject. I would like to see a solitary figure walking through of someother point of interest because the eye tends to wander through the frame and not settle on anything. |

^by Prime_TimeComment: Interesting building like the prow of a boat - at least your composition creates that feel. I like the sweep of the structure through the frame - really moves the eye. |

Rock Hallby bobdaveantComment: Nicely balanced composition with the refection. Nice sky, nice shadows that add to the shape of the structure. The reflection is a bit dark - I'd play with curves to see if I cuold get a bit more range between the sunlight and the shadows. |

White Beautyby max90034Comment: Nice to have the flowers as foreground. I like the simplicity of the pink, green , white, and blue. It has a fairy tale feel to it. The focus of the picture is at the angle of the building - where there is a big blank wall - not very inviting - makes me feel like I am looking at the back not the front and I am distracted by wondering what is on the other side. |

Water and Lightby alfrescoComment: Woah! Drama galore! I enjoy the contrast of the bright orange building and the dark blue sky. The title works well with the subject. Long exposure to make the water so glassy? Nice idea. Feels like a drawing out of a graphic novel - a little artificial to me, but that is a matter of taste. |

La Pedreraby AndrewTOComment: You have acheived a bizzare glowing quality here that contrasts interestingly with the solidity of the building and the composition. I like the pastel colors too - they add to the soft texture. |

Magic Lanternby GermaineComment: Fun use of selective color. Nicely coposed. Nice light. But I do wish the empasis was on the structure and not on the lighting fixture. |

Ferryman's Hutby FalcComment: You have some real drama here with the dark and light - the the hit on the thirds line with the halo of light above it. But with the architectural details lost in the shadows it it more of an atmospheric shot than an architectural shot |

Wave on Waveby dw_photoComment: nice cornered composition - lets your eye swoop throught the photo. Feels a bit too dark to me. |
