Hot and Cold Flashesby anderaaronComment: A challenging subject - good idea for this subject matter. the background is a bit cluttered and distracting, but both images are clear, and the meaning is too. |

Fire vs. Iceby bcncrazyComment: I like your idea of hainv contrasts in temp. I like the blue of the flame witht the bit of orange, but wish it was more prominent. Too mush of the composition is white - contradicting the the tension in the subject. If you could have a larger flame, or a lens that could bring you closer in. |

Soaking in the Raysby shareinncComment: I like the warm brown of the sea lion against the cool blue of the rocks. The position really says "soaking in the rays" Wish the tail was sharper |

- High temperature -by AnastasiaComment: Poor bloke really looks wiped out. The lack of color and the soft focus add to the feeling of this "temperature." Simple but efffective - only wish the towel didn't have to stitching on the right - plain white would have been better. |

Snowball's Chanceby myqylComment: Nice idea. I missed the snow ball at first - would like to see a composition that focuses in more of the snowball. It would look more like hell if we couldn't see the brisk at the back of the foreplace. I like the leaping flames andI like the colors in the flames - that purple at the bottom looks cool - I mean hot. |

Infernoby YomiComment: Very hot! I like the range of textures - the craggy rock, the flaming bright sparks, and the billowing hazy clouds of smoke. I wish there was some clue to the scale of the photo - the size might be impressive. Perhaps including more of the smoke disappearing into the black night? |

Hot Summer Nightby arnitComment: now really, how hot can it get in Iceland? I was there once when it hit 80 in the day and people were swiming in glacial rivers but that was highly unusual. Nevertheless, those clouds do look like they are on fire! I like how you've used the hill Perlan is on to obscure the busy cityscape (except for Halgrimskirkja) and help the composition focus on the clouds. |

Curves and Stripesby kerrywcComment: I love this idea - the shaddows of the blinds gently accentuate her curves, The rest of the light sculpts her body very nicely. A nice cool comfortable feeling. I would like to see how it looks with the full curve of the bottom, and a bit of a crop on the top. |
