This was my favorite shot in the challenge. 10 all the way!

Thanks for the wonderfull feedback. In retrospect I probably should have re positioned the right arm out of the picture. Please keep in mind that this was a 500 watt Home Depot special through some throw away blinds not a $5,000 dollar light kit and studio. It was also taken with my old camera and not my new Canon d10. But thats why I like this site I learn from your comments and strive to be as good as some of you.

Although If I had repositioned the right arm it would change the shape of the right breast in a not so positive way. Oh well cant take it back now.

Again thanks for the comments.

Kerry

great composition, great angle... love how the skin tone nearly matches the sheet underneath her. - 8

This almost looks like a marble "statue"! Quite a lovely shot. At first glance, I thought that I might like a little more contrast, but after looking at it several times, I find that I kind of like the soft, dreamy feel of the shot.

terrific use of light. the b&w treatment of this .. or maybe the over use of curves or similar ... has made this person look plastic. I like the effect because it leaves the viewer to wonder. I may have tried to crop a bit more off the top of the frame.

this is my favourite - i like the way the shadows fall across the subject. well done

I do like the way the lines help highlight the curved shape of the subject. From an exposure standpoint, I would like to have seen a little more light just below the rib cage and a little less on the background. I'm not sure what is in the lower left corner of the frame, but it seems to take away from the lines running down the side of her body. Still a very attractive shot and a great effort.

I love this idea - the shaddows of the blinds gently accentuate her curves, The rest of the light sculpts her body very nicely. A nice cool comfortable feeling. I would like to see how it looks with the full curve of the bottom, and a bit of a crop on the top.

great use of shadow (venetian blinds, I assume?). It could use some more contrast as it currently looks a little washed out...almost like an infrared. crop works for me too.

Nice, I like this one but the right arm kinda throws me off. I would've preferred to see no arms so as to accentuate the curve of her back.
If I could vote I'd give it a 7.

spoilt by the sheet

A lovely example of really painting with light. I love the way the light defines her body like contour lines on a map. Is that an arm at the lower left or a fold of cloth? Either way I'm not sure about its position - I think arms above body and out of shot might be better. Also not sure about colour and contrast settings - seem to flatted it a little - though that's perhaps what you intended?
All in all an intriguing image.

This picture would be sooo cool if it had more contrast - 8

A very nice nude study... the shadows on the body are very effective, almost like contour marks. A great dispassionate study of the female form with effective lighting. 9
