Autumn Castleby dg02Comment: Peering out of the shadows, nice use of negative space. Wishthe trees had had better color for you. I like that one leaf on the floor - it would be really cool if it were bright red or yellow - connecting the abstract world of light and shadow with the outside world of trees. |

Vine and shadowby JC_HomolaComment: The crispness of the shadows - so spikey - against the simple wood is great. I wish the light on the real vine weren't so glaring, it takes away ffrom the clean simplicity of the shadow, but I like the sigle line of bright green in an otherwise colorless pic. |

midnight oakby tp-fcpComment: Shadows at night is a novel idea. The maroon color is neat. I like the composition of the bright windows in the top corner. I'd like to see how this looks a bit darker - perhaps the real leaves would anchor the corner more. |

DPCby wdebeau1Comment: A very imaginative idea - works very well with the subject. Must have been very difficult to light. While the shadows are very interesting the carved wood is not so captivating. Bravo for innovation, hard effort and intriguing results. |

The Shadowby thelselComment: captures that feeling of being awake in the darkness and seeing a spooky shadow - scary. The grainyness mimics the limits of our vision in the dark, adds to the uncertainty that causes the fear. I like the diagonal light over the face, dramatic. |
