Screw The Roses, Send Me The Thornsby sleekrComment: ouch, what is that book about? I think having the roses a bit more our of focus would work better and maybe have jsut a couple stems to simplify and concentrate on the line on thorns against the dark background. Background in slightly green - use a color cast tool to remove (or does that desaturate the green in the plants too much?) |

Cool Cocktailsby EddyGComment: Cool - lots of work setting this up! I love the background - interesting but not distracting. Wish there was a bit less glare on the far left glass. A bit wider DOF would make everything tack sharp |

The Icky Sticky Frogby SimplicityComment: Does seem sticky - very bright green at little hard to look at (perhaps a bit less light would be better) Has the feeling of a horizontal photo turned vertical - |

To the Lighthouse by dan_pendletonComment: Wow. I like this! The walkway reaching out to the viewer inviting you to climb up. The smooth swish of the sand, that soft blue sky with the perfect clouds and that wonderful red top. Sharp focus, lovely light 10 |

The unbearable lightness of beingby elizutaComment: Yes that light off the ocean from high up - you are flying thru the air and the light is so ethereal -fits well with the title - I might have cropped out the window alltogether - would make it seen even more floaty. Maybe a bit less exposed would bring out even more detail in the clouds? |

Scarlet Letterby runnergrlComment: Creative. You bumped up the saturation of the reds, and desaturated everything else. The grainy red on the walls is an artifact of that. Perhaps you could have positioned the camera higher and composed the shot without the wall. |

The Joy Of Cookingby GeneralEComment: Cute. I see joy is those eyes! You caught the chocolate mid-drip. The shadow from the flash makes this very snap-shot-ish, but the white drape in the back suggest set-up. Perhaps a more natural setting in the kitchen would be more thematic, and add to our sense of the environment of cooking... |

"Same Time, Next Year" - a romantic comedyby jefalkComment: This photo tells a story. Nice effect with the calendar. The clock the rose the hotel key all are piece to the puzzle - you could get the title of the book without knowing it, I like the bight red, sparse but bold. |
