Dad's turn to cook by vawendyComment: A great catch but in one way I hate to say that .. it's as if you had no work in finding out where they nest, hunt and so on and to get such a good shot, you have no doubt done your home work .. so I revise that statement to - Fantastic capture!

43 Minute Exposure by mgarsteckComment: Congratulations ... I have been to that exact spot many times and have some interesting shots of the pylons. Great idea using such a long exposure - really made it an exceptional shot. |

END of the LINEby TonyRolandComment: This should win the best title award - the rusted out bridge, the tracks leading nowhere .. well composed - love the texture and patterns. Voted earlier (high) :) |

A Ballerina's Hopes and Fearsby dahlinComment: Having tried to create such an on purpose blurry shot as this, I know too well how difficult it is. It reminds me of a Gerhardt Richter painting. This photo is ethereal, post processed perfectly - I love the tones in this shot - I hope to be able to create such a photo one day. Maybe you will share your technique? I voted earlier - a 9 |

Rosie The Riveterby sjhulsComment: What an amazing job you did matching the colors of the original - and the hair style really brought it home. Beautifully photographed - I voted earlier and gave you a 9 |

Aren't we ALL human? - take twoby LevTComment: Great title - very nicely seen and photographed. It makes me smile when friends of mine who are not used to Buddhist dress/practices meet some Buddhist friends of mine .. also interesting to note that the monk who is taking the photo is standing on concrete whose pattern reminds me of mandalas. I voted earlier and you were in my top votes. Message edited by author 2011-07-01 18:12:09. |

vintage twoby bspurgeonComment: I can't really put into words why this photo affects me so deeply, maybe because I have 4 sons and 3 grandsons - but more than that .. it's as if he is much deeper in thought than we imagine a child his age would be .. and the thought is what the story is all about. Thank you for this photo, it really touches my heart.

my apologies for not seeing this beautiful child as female .. my eyes were taken so much to the interesting position of the hand and the shadow of the eyes, I did not notice the delicate features or hair. Message edited by author 2011-07-01 09:12:07. |

TBP_5238_Edit_SMALLby BuddyBaumComment: I like the other shot of your wife too but this one has such attitude - it does what I love a really well composed photo to do - tell me a story .. as others have noted, that one shoe out is perfect but so is her expression and how she has her arms braced on your shoulders .. you look about 9 feet tall too and that's a real neat effect. I hope you post the other shots I think it's a great idea for couples to take personal time after the hoopla is all over and create some personal memories. |

Alzheimers: Losing little bits and pieces of me by vawendyComment: Congratulations on your ribbon ... but more importantly on creating a photo that creates a visual manifestation of the loss. Two aunts and one uncle died from complications of this disease so this photo touches me in it's beautiful simplicity that speaks volumes. |
