Backlighting from the sun caused the water to be perfectly exposed and the ducks, the main subjects of the shot, to be quite dark. Try spot-metering on the ducks, or the ground right in front of them.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. Is this through a microscope or something? It looks like a pine or fir tree to me. If you send me an email explaining it, I'll up your score, for sure.

How did the snail get out on that plant? I see them on the sidewalks and on the ground all the time, but that's an awfully small leaf he's treading. There are a few little overexposed spots on the shell.
