I don't know whether it's intentional, the picture seems very soft focused. I would have liked to see a little separation in the dark tones. You did that well in the brighter parts of your picture

Wow, my first reaction: the eye is OOF! but then I read your title - you got me there for a second. good job focusing on the eye lashes only. They seem just a tad oversharpened (halo in the upper part), 8

the WB seems to be off - the picture appears to have too many yellowish tones. The DOF is too shallow to have everything in focus. It's very hard to get a real good p[icture of an eye. I am struggling myself with it.
