Three Dahliasby banmornComment: I LOVE what you do with your flowers. I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it. They are so full of colour and so nicely lit, I want to stick them in vases and put them on display in my house. Simply stunning. |

*Optionalby beckydiComment: I really like the subtlety of this image. It is lit well and your focus is spot on. Very good use of DOF. I don't think the gray item is needed and it does distract a little attention. But, all in all, a very nicely done photograph. Back to bump you up one. |

propaneby tnunComment: That cigarette is most DEFIANTLY lit :) This could be a no smoking campaign poster LOL You captured this very well. I like the treatment given to it. I would like to see a bit more contrast out of your PP, but it is okay the way it is. I like how the guy in the back's hat says G. hahhahhahahha :) |

32FordHotRod_sm.jpgby zodaonlyComment: This looks like it has potential :) Try getting a bit creative with your exposures. I cut my photography teeth on an XTi and it's a great little camera. The best advice I can give you: Put that thing in M mode and start getting frustrated. You will be better for it in the end. This photo would have been enhanced by shooting with your 18-55mm at 20mm for a bit of distortion, pulled a tiny bit closer to the ground so the angle was a bit more upward to include the hood, at f4, ISO 100, and then just meter with the camera to get the shutter speed. Set it, and forget it :) Nice reflections in the windshield too. A step out to the left would have filled the windshield with clouds and killed the bright sunspot in one swift move. If you have ?s, feel free to PM :) |

Love Kylieby overcloverComment: I like the way you brought the title into the shot here with her waistband. Very creative thinking. Only 3 things bug me about this shot. One, is her feet being cut off at the ankles, it makes her look like an amputee. Second, is she has no PJ bottoms on. Third, your colour is a little too warm (yellow) on her skin. So, shoot wide and include the feet (remember not to ever crop at a joint), add bottoms and just pull them down a bit to show the waistband (sometimes implications are more interesting), and try this setting in Photoshop to correct the colour: New layer>colour balance and put this in the boxes on the right: -24, 6, 24 |
