I like the light just barely touching your left eye. Leaves a lot of mystery :) You are spot on about the focus, but in this shot, I am not bothered by it as much. Probably the shadows but it gives it just the right feeling... like you are emerging from the dark. bwahahhahahahaaa Very emotive 1st shot.

Beetle Bug?

Look HERE at the orange and black striped bug on the daisy about 1/4 of the way down the page. That is as close as it gets to an actual matching photo, apparently, the markings are very different within the species :) You might submit this image to them or even to Bug Guide as they don't have one either :)
