Reminds me of one of the Spice Girls (I can't remember which one). ;-) Fun shot - love the hair! You might try adjusting levels & curves a bit more to make it pop, but otherwise very cool.

I think your hair also really adds to the shot, the way you've put it up keeps it from your 'left' eye, while your fringe glops (glops?! i meant flops...) over you right so you are looking out through it, adding to the whole theme of the image.

Your hair is too colorful to be all zombielike lol. Fun pose. I think the lighting looks pretty good.

Does this mean you're a zombie? ;-) Your use of what looks like window light is very nice. The catchlight in your eye gives it depth, the shadows on your face are nice and soft. Some sharpening in post might help, but not needed for this really.

Cool tshirt. Lovely Sp. I think we'll be seeing lots of remotes in our shots. lol My batts are dead I think, so I keep having to make this look to get the camera to notice it. You know that look when the remote doesn't work. Maybe that can be my second entry. hmm.

Nice, I like it. The one eye exposed and other covered give mystery to the shot. Cool shirt...

Don't be alarmed by my lights...I have no idea what I am doing.

Don't be afraid to take the Canon XTi to ISO400 in ambient light, it handles noise really well. With the 18-55mm you will want as small a aperture as you can get for shapness. Somewhere around f/8 or f/11.
