A guy in my camera club frequently submits photos of agates and various other stones that look quite similar to this, although more colorful. I realize that's not what this is, just what it made me think of. I'm not sure this strikes me as entirely photographic but who knows. I think I'd like more of the yellow bits but without knowing what this is, maybe that's not possible.

I would be amenable to making every day the first day of Spring. Your photo though, I'm not too sure about that. It's a little too compositey for me. The checkered tulips are interesting but the ladies are awfully out of focus.

Definitely not you...it's very out of focus. :) It appeals to me despite that (and maybe because of it) but I know that it won't be everyone's bag (and perhaps nobody else's). No need for apologies, I much prefer honest feedback to insincere praise.
