Good graphic with the light trails, and the light under the dirt. The light just seems to zap the life into the soil. The fogginess behind the plant is a plus too. The only flaw I see here is the bright spot under the leaf disturbs the contrast balance in the dirt at that point, where I feel it should be dark to enhance the border between the dirt and the stem. Still a "grabber" of an image concept. Big 8, almost made 9. To me, this pic would be a strong contender, even without a title.

The bike part of the pic is right on target, as well as the title. The background trips me up. I always tend to look at everything that I can see in any picture for some reason, so it could be just my way of absorbing the details that causes me to say that.

Cute critter, sharp focus, good depth of field. I'm looking at the face and thinking maybe a funnier title would be " Hey! Who threw that dirt ball?"

Wish I had this kind of dirt in my yard. I didn't think about it till too late, but this is almost like my idea, "Quicksand". The scene would be just a hat on wet ground, and maybe a hand out of the ground.
Good effort, and big depth of field, maybe a little too much, as the background in the corner attracts my eyes away from the foreground. I keep looking up there for something that isn't there.

Like the title. I think that I would have gotten lower, to make the pile look bigger and to get the telephone pole out of the picture. It still is ok though, as the camera was at normal eye level, a natural looking way to see things. Maybe you thought about it and shot it at this angle on purpose. Again, good title for this scene.

Right to the point, but not an overly interesting looking dirt patch. For some reason, it's sharp on the right but unsharp on the left as it goes down the drop off. If you didn't intend it to be that way, inquire about "depth of field" in the tech help section of the forum. It's really tricky to get a captivating photo of "real dirt".

Good pet portrait. Title needs something. It may be a translation problem, and not as you intended it, as I know that this is a world wide website.

Cute idea. Like "Boogers", every body gets them, nobody loves them. No wonder the little feller looks so sad.

Nice tomato crop! My current work is assembling and wiring up a machine to wash, wax, and sort tomatoes at the rate of about 900 25lb boxes per hour. Most people don't know that you mostly get green stained hands from picking tomatoes, but this is a photo contest. Good concept, and excecuted well in the tech dept. I take away one little click for the back light showing behind the lower tomato, right side, and above the top tomato. If you could get that little border around the outside of the hands, like where the leaf on the right goes over the finger, it would really stand the whole subject out from the background.

I think that only DSLR people will get the point. Nice composition though, the way the light sweeps you from the lower left to the darker upper right. Rule of thirds you know, LOL. We made me smile.
