Dirtpile At Sunsetby tomcatComment: Incorrect exposure and adjusted in the computer? It happens to me sometimes too. When using manual lenses with my camera, I have no light meter. |

A Dark Past... by cutlassdude70Comment: Good trick, to win the "Death" theme with something that's never lived. You know your stuff. You have an awesome place nearby to shoot this kind of images. |

What lies beneathby BrennanOBComment: A darn nice image! The sideways light makes the little snake stand out. Thank you for sharing. This looks very real. I guess I'm biased to nature pics. My first impulse before seeing the title was "There's no place like home". from Oz. |

Nose Dirtby KelliComment: No fair playing the "Kid Card." They are a beautiful gift, and each one unique. Just the right touch of dirt. Thank you for the happy face. |

Dirt on the windowby krglComment: Try smaller aperture if your camera allows, and it will bring the foreground into better focus. Another way around it is same shutter speed and higher asa if your camera allows you to set them.
Good observation to find the dirt there. Looks like Everglades muck. It blows everywhere like in your pic when it's dry. |

Mud Maskby jfwolpertComment: If this is a candid snapshot, I'm willing to bet that you got a "dirty" look after the surprise wore off.
Good light with enough reflected into the shadow areas for the right amount of detail there. Got a grin from me. |
