Sharp in detail with depth of field about perfect for the subject. It is fascinating to see how ice crystals illuminate with light from above and behind. I also like the one sided composition of the focused area in front of the natural background, showing that this is an outdoor image.

Brrrr, that looks cold. It must have been getting near dark, as I can see the lights on the tower. This is an extremely wintery looking scene to me.

That's a serious looking milling machine. Like the story with the image. Good use of DOF to put the machine so sharply out of the background.

I know about where this is. The overcast makes things look a bit blah in color saturation, but the composition is right nice.
Looks like the surveyor had a couple of good stiff drinks the day this walk was laid out. : )
