I never was that good at headstands, and definitely could not compose pics that way.
Good choice with the low angle for this shot.

The sky smiled for you today. I like the old telephone lines and poles. The hard wire lines like that are rapidly being replaced by fiber optic and buried lines, so the poles and cross bars will soon be gone for good.

Nice bunkhouse you have there.
Good picture too.
A polarizer may help some with the hilight on the sheets if you shoot this kind of shot again sometime. I know that they are supposed to be used for glass and metal reflections, but sometimes they help with reflection on other things too.

My kind of place. I think it would be fun to poke around outside with a metal detector, who knows what may be there. Too bad they didn't save it as a museum piece with the equipment in it. The right lens shade may have helped with the lens flare, but maybe you wanted it to add to the feel of the image. Sometimes you can get permission to photograph historic places like this if you ask the local police, or the people who own the property.
Then again, it's a lot more exciting to just take your chances.

Thanks, now my monitor has the sniffles : )
Seeing your own children ill certainly makes us understand just how little power we actually have over our well being and theirs.
Being ill is part of life as well as all the good times that we have, so you have shared today a good representation of exactly the intent of the challenge theme.
If we were voting, this image would get a big number from me.
Wishing you both to be well soon.

It's a classic looking place you have. Seeing the chimney, I would guess you have a nice fireplace too.

Well exposed, and nicely lit image. That is a very tidy table setting, and nice decor as well. It is very inviting looking.
