These tracks run through the center of Louisville. Nothing special about the train but I kinda liked the sky.

While you say there is nothing special about this train, if you darken this whole image by a full 1-2 f-stops, the sky and train will take on a much more dramatic look.

One way to do this would be to duplicate the layer in PS, set the top layer to Multiply and create a mask (black) by hitting alt and the box with the dot. Then brush on white with a very large brush, but only at about 11-15% opacity. Then keep adding/piling up the white to get your desired level of 'darkening'

Must, must, must level this shot with a slight rotation. Doing so will save you a point at least on challenges.

The sky looks really good, the train and the track draw your eye further into the picture, fab.

The sky smiled for you today. I like the old telephone lines and poles. The hard wire lines like that are rapidly being replaced by fiber optic and buried lines, so the poles and cross bars will soon be gone for good.

This is a very good composition with great depth. My dad was a railroad engineer in Cincinnati OH before he became an opera singer (I'm not kidding), and he's buried in Louisville in Cave Hill Cemetery. That's a great place to take photos, btw.

nice sky yes, interesting telegraph poles also and that train, it looks about a mile long! That is what makes this challenge so interesting, what is nothing special to you/me can be quite amazing to others ;)
