retiredby BAMartinComment: The light gradient from low at the left to high at the right shows off the old engine nicely. Too bad no one has the time and money to build a shed over these old relics. It looks like this one was doing government work when it was finally side-lined. |

Day 11 - Branch - Editedby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Just making the blue deeper kicked this one up a couple of notches. The sharpen is just a bonus since the original is so sharp. It's good to see some spring pics showing up on the threads now. |

Snowmobile Edit Day 8by emily212Comment: This is a very catchy color combo. The snowmobile adds a lot to the sense that it isn't just a static, peaceful place. Seeing the slope on the mountain, I am wondering if that is a parachute he is wearing LOL.

Barn Edit Day 9by emily212Comment: I am thinking that you edited it about right. I somehow missed the people in the original shot, and you have made them show up in this one. The overalls seem to just fit right into the rural scene. This is a place that is definitely worth a photo shoot. |

DAY 7. unedited. FACES .by rozComment: I also like the table ware being in this one, as it sets the scene. Without it being there it would not have the same effect at all. Very honest snapshot of the subjects and the moment, and that makes it have a lot of life. You don't see a lot of unstaged people pics on DPC, so this is a treat. |

Conductorby BAMartinComment: Good capture of a scene that seems to combine all the elements in it very nicely. If you like rail roads you just have to like this image. The conductor looks the part, like a book character. |

MinimalDay3Editedby cogeroxComment: By looking and reading the comments about your processing, I can see what has been done, and how it affected the finished image. Very good description of the steps used to get the finished image, and it was effective in bringing the visual impact up a lot.
I wonder what made the very strange 5 toed tracks across the tree trunk on the left?

IMG_DeerEdited.jpgby noranekoComment: Your processing stepped this image up a couple of notches. It almost looks like a studio shot with the light background, and the good light level on the deer now. This is a very friendly looking deer. I can never get this close to the ones that I photograph in the Everglades. |

Day 10 - Dragonby xianartComment: I like the way you dropped the levels in the background, and sort of made it go away, then put the critter up front with extra color and sharpness. Good shot to begin with, excellent when you finished with it.

The Gardenerby RebeccaComment: I really like the colors and the point of view in this image. The bee is just an added perk, and helps to make the whole scene even better. Good focus and nice depth of field. |
