I95: Give My Regards to Broadwayby banmornComment: I like this one best of the series of 3. It looks like the whole group of lights are hopping in unison. With your 1.5 sec exposure, the pulsed lights blinked 90 times during the exposure, making their images a series of dots. Strobes on towers pulse this way too. The dark background and point source lights make this a lot like a fireworks shot. |

Flower Wagon.jpgby RayEthierComment: Very country looking scene. I would have cropped the power pole and transformer off the right edge I think. I like the TV antenna however, as it just seems retro. The round tree is cool too.
It looks like a happy place. |

Day 37/50 - Suncatcherby sherpetComment: I was going to just comment "Pretty", but I see that you have already done that. It's pretty, you're right. I think I would put the camera in super macro, and try to get the image in the center crystal too. Message edited by author 2007-08-05 23:47:53. |

macaws-small.jpgby L1Comment: Macaws are irresistable to camera lenses. This is a beautiful image of the birds relaxing. They make very interactive pets too. |

Goin' Nowhere Fast!by annigComment: I sure am happy that I do not have to deal with snow in the winter.
In this image, the blue spots in the plant are the result of a little oops in processing. I have found that I can get that effect with "levels", "gamma" or "saturation" being overdone. I now look for that in the darkest areas of an image when I am making adjustments to those parameters.
It does make the blue on the bikes pop out of the snow in this image. |

Day-2-100-0003_IMG.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: With the old street lamp and pier in the foreground, it looks a bit like a 50's detective movie scene, except that it is in glorious color. I see why you like it. |

Buried in the Likeness of His Deathby L1Comment: I know that you have been having a tough time lately. I am happy to see that you and family are on a good path, and that you are shooting and posting images. I hope that your photography and the DPC family will be helpful with getting your life back to somewhat normal. |

Shelterby bob350Comment: My first impression was that it was a macro of threads, a crescent stairway from above, or inside a culvert pipe. Maybe it is a rainbow in B&W? If you hadn't told us what it was, I would have never guessed. I don't really know what to say about it. The scene does not seem to have a subject in it, although the entire frame is the subject. it's a very odd image. |

Gone fishingby LevTComment: This image captures the feel of the moment well, without any distracting sharp details. Like the light color. |
