It's hard to get the little guys to look at the camera sometimes. The image does convey the feeling of the seasons changing. I think it is the lower saturation that does it.

The bad luck horse shoe upside down makes the human connection for me in this image. Somehow it seems as if it should have a US Forestry logo on the door. They used a lot of these in the 50's, as there were a lot of surplus ones around after the Korean war. They also made good swamp buggies if you cut the heavy body off and built a light one.
You photographed this one well. The tree behind it helps to give it the rugged outdoor setting that it deserves.
