Spring Runoffby chazoeComment: Something seems a little "off" with the way the landscape across the middle looks, in relation to the rocky wall behind it. I'm not sure how that happened, unless it was the use of a ND Grad filter or a gradient in processing. The grass also looks a bit over-saturated on my monitor.
I can't quite put my finger on what's going on across the middle, but it seems strongest at the bottom of the upper waterfall, where the rock is in front of the water. Something about the edge there looks almost like that part of the scene was cut out and pasted over the fall.
The "soft" look is ok with me for the scene. I tend to like that for some scenes, but it generally does not do well with the DPC voters. |

Kingdom of the Lionby youpeeComment: I like that you used very small aperture to get the total image DOF, and that it caused the shutter speed to be low enough to get motion blur in the foreground to suggest a breeze. Wonderful scene, and POV. The muted tones overall make this one a grabber. |

Sanctuaryby vawendyComment: This would make a nice post card. I like the Sand Hill Cranes and the gold light in this. |

Little Red Deer Riverby LawtonComment: The "on the bridge" point of view leaves the foreground sort of wanting for something interesting to be there. This is a pretty nice looking place though. |
