My cousin's wife was visiting, so I took her up to see Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji, and then the shrines of Nikko - which were jam-packed with people because it was a public holiday in Golden Week.

Nice, well taken capture with optimal use of natural light. It could use just a touch of sharpening in the closer areas (I think a larger depth of field may have suited here), and just a little punch of saturation in the greens and reds to make the image 'pop.' 7

Great job on capturing the rainbows. You have a good understanding of light refraction and height of sun relationship to capture this image. Bumping this up on a daylight review of all entries. I agree with your selection of a "portrait" orientation for this particular subject. It's a narrow gorge. Colorado is really dry. Wish we had that kind of water flow! 10
