I see that it is still rainy there when this was shot. Sometimes the birds will just almost go to sleep on their perch while you are there clicking away, and other times they can be very skittish. You are fortunate to live so near a place as beautiful as this.

Two Baby Doves - Day 25

It is fortunate that it does not take long for them to become big birds. They are not the cutest of babies before they get feathers. I have a couple of small flocks of doves that come to eat the left over feed from my parrot cages, and they are very pretty and docile birds.

I am happy that you had a day or two to visit with Roz and Greg. It must have been good to hear J W singing his songs in person. I have not heard of him here in the States, but I have not been keeping up with current music much lately. Nice view, the way the light is coming under the shade makes the details look good.

It seems a bit odd to see a grasshopper with no vegetation at all in the shot. They are not my fav critter, but this is a good photo of this one.

Abandoned with Cactus

Pretty ground cover, and the fence is nice too. I wouldn't want to fall into that cactus while stumbling around at night. It all seems quite green for an place abandoned and in Az. There's that lovely blue sky again.

Day 27: By the canal

It looks like a vehicle came by while the shutter was open. The blur moves my vision to the rest of the photo, which is good. You did a very nice job of getting the lights in all the buildings and reflections in the canal to look so good and sharp. The area at the bridge, with the stairway and the posts by the canal looks vaguely familiar, as if I have seen it in another photo. Maybe it was the "blur" challenge.

Day 28 - Baby Bunnies

That's just too sweet. I had a rabbit pet one time named "silly" after the one in the "Trix are for kids" commercials. They are so soft and gentle.
I like the POV and the one with the mustache is a cutie.

The Parrot Comes

This is a very good image, even with the things that you mention about "quality issues". Most of us know the techniques to get the great shot, but it just isn't always easy as time never stands still with animals or people.
Capturing a hundred one time, exceptional moments like this is worth a lot more to me than missing most of life and it's great images while trying to get that one technically perfect shot.
