 My two quite ugly in a way, but also quite beautiful as well, baby doves are now getting their feathers.

OMG they are ugly - LOL!! I've had baby pigeons before and it takes a while before they come into their own. I'm sure it's fun watching them grow.

yes shez.. they do look ugly .. you might be able to tame them if you spend enough time taking their photograph ..
great shot .. i can see that as they grow they'll become quite beautiful .. i'm getting glimpses now altho vague .. !! :)

It is fortunate that it does not take long for them to become big birds. They are not the cutest of babies before they get feathers. I have a couple of small flocks of doves that come to eat the left over feed from my parrot cages, and they are very pretty and docile birds.

Aww, they have little bitty pin feathers all over. Another week or so and they'll look like real birds.
