This area looks a lot like part of New Mexico near Taos. It's beautiful country. I would miss all the greenery that I live with here after a while, but it would be a great place to visit.

Nice flower shot, and you controlled the capture of the red parts without oversat. I don't think that I have seen these growing anywhere in this area.

This is an awesome image IMHO. The sky seems made to order for the shot. They don't do much ice sculpture in this part of the world, so it is something that I would be very interested in seeing in progress.

It looks cold already. I like the long view out to the distant mountains in this shot. That's a pretty raw and desolate looking place, but beautiful in it's own way. The cloud bank is high and cold looking.

Day_21: A place I like to go to think and relax

This is where I would want to be if I was there during the winter too. You are fortunate to have such a place nearby and your composition makes it look quite appealing. I have a staghorn fern about the size of the ones in the background hanging in my yard. I hang a light bulb under it when it is going to be below 40F at night to keep it safe from frost.

Excellent color in this shot. It's difficult to get the range of light from the brightness of the moon to keep the color in the sky near the horizon. You did good. : )
