 this was katee this morning ...
i tell her to wait in a certain spot and then i walk away from her ..
when i'm far enough away i get down to her level and call her to come ..
you can see by her happy laughing face that she loves the game .. it was getting a bit hot ... her tongue appears to get longer and longer the hotter it gets and the more i make her run .. it looks pretty normal size in this shot ..
i've taken photographs of her on a hot day where her tongue gets so long that it would reach to the bottom of her tag ..

in this photograph you'd see me looking towards you in the foreground .. if that makes any sense .. and katee would be coming into the shot at the bottom of the image .. thats if it was all happening at the same time !! .. which it wasnt ...:)

With the explanation in the last part of your comment, it's a wonder you don't get lost on the firetrail LOL. Not to worry, Katee knows the way home.
The Katee shot is another of your fine shooting and processing gems. In composition, the bokeh and the big tree leading to Katee in sharp focus is good.

omg THAT IS GREAT! I WAS WAITING FOR THIS TO LOAD ON MY MONITOR AND THE BLUR OF THE BG AND TREES CAME ON AND SLOWLY HERE COMES THE POOCH! SHE LITERALLY jumps OUTTA THE SCREEN
