Ropeby ShutterPugComment: I like the way you used DOF and positioned the subject so that it isolates the one strand from the rest of the rope in the BG. The strong light makes the texture stand out nicely, and the curve helps with interest. |

Day 11: Bananasby EstimatedEyesComment: I can see that you had to shoot relatively wide aperture due to the available light. That is a good abstract pattern in the central focused area. |

Welded on - Day 10by slaaksoComment: Lovely shapes and details in this shot. Good find! The only minus is the blurry lower left corner. Sometimes you can put something in front or over a thing like that in a photo, like a leaf or something dark like the edge of a camera lens bag or hat. It would not work for this shot, but just another trick to remember for someday. |

Macro Day 12by socalsteveComment: I like this kind of "darkness" in photos, and shoot a lot in this style myself. That's an interesting subject. |

Paw Paw - Day 11by sherpetComment: We have some of those growing here in South Florida. The climate must be similar to where you live.
The little seeds look a lot like the singing raisins in the TV ads. |

Fungi - Day 10by sherpetComment: Natures diversity gives me endless amazement. You have a fine talent for capturing and sharing sweet bits of it with us at DPC.

Day 9 : Residueby ShaneBlakeComment: Good, and tricky. I would never guessed what this was if it was not in a macro challenge. It's a nice visit to "tiny land."
Excellent sharpness and detail in the foreground. |
