A shot of the hot coals inside my wood burning stove I didn't actually melt my macro, but the lens and camera got pretty warm during the fast shoot.

This is very nice. I like the diagonal streak of coals in composition, it's very eye-catching.

You're really playing with fire with your equipment ;) The details are suprisingly sharp in the top right corner but seem soft on the other side of the image. Maybe it's a combination of short DOF and shooting position. Thanks for risking this shot!

Nice. Sharpness is better. I could understand why you didn't take your time focusing. eheh

That's an interesting view. It seems odd that it is all orange in color, with no blue flame. It is nice and abstract. I would not have guessed what it was for a while. It thought it was food when I saw the thumb .

Really interesting shot. This makes for a wonderful abstract texture. So, couldn't you get in a little closer? (j/k) ;)

Too hot to handle! I am glad to hear that the camera lens and yourself are doing well. Quite mesmerizing like a real life burning ember.
