 This is a mystery macro. What do you think it is?

This is the cold water C on the chrome flange on the outside shower. The white specks are probably calcification. I like this photo because it really shows that macro photography can change the way we look at ordinary objects.

You say this is outside on your house?? I have not idea what it is... but I'd love to know. The textures are wonderful and that was a tough exposure to nail and you did. It looks like this thing has received quite a few blows from all the white specks around the letter.

Great macro of .... something that is used in the washroom.
