Red Wiggler Wormby JMartComment: The white paper towel was a good choice for BG because of the light reflected back into the subject. Is there something special about this worm that would make it worthwhile to relocate it to your compost pile, or do you live somewhere that has few or no worms in the ground?
I also like the dirt particles on it to give more interest to the shot.
Let's go fishing! |

air power c. 1945by nomad469Comment: Wonderful shot. I wish I could have been there to feel the rumble of that radial engine. |

1869 - The Golden Spike by jrtoddComment: Only the pavement in the foreground gives away the time period of this image. It's just superb!
I just purchased an authentic steam whistle on flea bay, I wonder if it was on one of these engines in the 1860's. |

Hi mom;... I baked a cake....by MiepComment: I didn't vote this challenge, but this image did make me smile. It reminded me of my childhood days for some reason. The concept and the shell shocked expression are great. Keep shootin'. |

Six Secondsby JMartComment: This would have ribboned in the "6" challenge with the hands pointing to 6:30. That's a good idea with the 6 sec exposure. Excellent lighting and good macro. |

Coming out of my shellby JakerComment: Good job and nice finish for a first challenge entry. This is an advanced editing challenge too, which makes the good score even better. I believe that I would have cropped the top off, right down to the eyes, and left the crab peeking out of the image, and his reflection to show that it was a hermit crab. Try scrolling down so that it is cropped that far at the top of the screen, and you will see what I am talking about. It would fit the challenge description better that way.
Just my opinion.
Hope to see more of your work here in the future. |
