P&S Day 6 - Crocksby JuliBocComment: My wifey loves it. That's good enough for me. I think it is excellent too, in color and form. Message edited by author 2008-04-28 09:22:27. |

Day 6: Waiting for the Trainby bobonacusComment: Nicely done, and the DOF is right for this shot too. Many P&S cameras hold the metering level if you point and push the shutter half way, and hold it there while you are composing. It makes it easy to get the light levels you want, as you can watch the screen to see what it will look like as you move the camera around. You did a good job with getting what you were after with this shot. |

Day 5by tpbremerComment: That's creative shooting, and with interesting results. I also enjoy shooting thru things that refract light just for fun and to see what the images look like. Try one side of a pair of binoculars sometime for a long distance shot. |

Green Stink Bug #4 P&Sby robinssongComment: I enjoyed just looking at this shot for a while, and sorting out the details of the bug's shape and colors. The area in focus and DOF are exactly right, as are the exposure and the even light with your S&H adjustments. |

Day 4 - men on the bridgeby GinaRothfelsComment: I am not so sure about the street light being there, but I like the rest of the photo for the curved line and mysterious rectangle of sign. |

Day 4by tpbremerComment: Nice POV for the subject, and the hanger wire being a home made thing caught my attention right off. I like the way the film makes diagonals across the frame with the receding perspective. It's been a while since I have seen film drying. Thanks for the memory refresher. |

Day 3: Leaf It Out!by bobonacusComment: You could eliminate some of the bright sky by tilting the photo right at the top and cropping to a vertical comp. It would not get the same effect, but would be cool to see the frame full of that awesome backlit green textures.
Nice find, and good capture to get the details that you wanted well exposed. |

P&S Day 4 - Flamingo Portraitby JuliBocComment: Nicely isolated by DOF, and cropped just right too. I never knew that you could see all the way thru a flamingo's nose. Good color and detail in this shot too. |

Day 4: White Flowersby bobonacusComment: The little Canon did a nice job of controlling the hard sun light in this shot. As you said, the P&S cameras are a lot of fun to have around, and they do macro very nicely. |
