Taken after a storm at a local park. It seemed to have some drama.
I cropped it and cloned out a distracting tree and adjusted contrast, D&B and Noise Ninja to remove quite a lot of noise, which didn't add anything IMHO.

Silhouettes of gulls and trees are fine enough, but that blurring and bunching of sky and cloud surrounding the tree where it all opens up takes us somewhere else indeed.

This is nice. Very striking contrast in the sky and vs. the tree. The lone tree also has a really interesting shape to it.

Nicely moody, & a great sky. Well done removing the noise. The silhouettes are dramatic but those gulls just look sooo relaxed.

intense image - the sky really jumps out at us
the silhouette really seals the deal here

Nice shot, I like the silhouettes but also the blue in the sky, the clouds are great and do give drama to the photo

The most interesting part of this image for me is the way the limbs and holes in the clouds mesh.

Lovely. There is an odd feeling about this. Because of the darkness, it feels like a bright moonlight shot. But the birds wouldn't be standing around at night. I like the way the birds and the tree stand out against the lightest part of the sky.
