Lady In Waiting by IvoryComment: Congrats on an excellent job of putting the elements in order with this image. I am happy for you that you finally got to use and show off your mask, and that the results are so stunning. Good art! |

"And furthermore..."by tnunComment: This is a very clear shot for that range with a P&S. Your reshoot paid off in this shot. It looks like the fledgling is about ready to begin flying with it's parents to learn how to be an adult.
We have a pair of smaller woodpeckers that nest in the same tree in our yard every season. Limbs and leaves on the tree block having a clear view to the entrance to the nest though. |

red dragonflyby tnunComment: The Panasonic did a nice job of focus and capture for this scene. The P&S cameras seem to have the right stuff for close shooting. Color and overall sharpness is excellent in the area of focus.
I see that the same variety of dragonfly that we have here lives there as well, even though the climate is totally different in the winter. |

Modestyby JuliBocComment: I like the way the low angle put the palm in the BG. It adds a lot to what would be an otherwise bland sky with the nice curve that frames the top of the flowers. The full sunlight shining thru the blooms brings out a lot of detail there too. You did a nice job of getting the flowers to look good and also including their environment. |

IMG_2371mini-wild.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: The touch up brought this image to life. It looked rather flat before you tuned it up. That's a happy looking little guy. |

Aerial Balletby JedusiComment: This is quite an unusual scene, and you make the most of it in this shot. I also like the sense of action and the flash of colors in this shot. Composition is spot on with the static branch and the dark BG to contrast the whirl of color. |

Into the Woodsby PrismComment: I like this image a lot. I am drawn right into the scene by the opening and the light down the center. It's the sort of place that would make me feel very comfortable, and you have captured the "vibe" of the location very nicely. Excellent! |

Jun 07 After.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: I like both versions of this for different reasons. The before shot has the darker cooler greens, and looks inviting, as though I could just stroll down the path to cool off. This edited version with it's color adjustments looks more true to life I would suppose, and the details in all the plants show up better, which is technically better. The edit version seems to have more reality, while the original has that dreamy whimsical look. |

What was that?by fantomfotoComment: What a cool looking creature. The shade gives an overall greenish tint, but that is what it actually looked like with sun shining thru the leaves. I guess that the cat was hearing your camera and lens working, and was curious. |

I see you!by fantomfotoComment: That is a nice looking bird. I wonder if the dark feathers are a result of it being in captivity and it's diet there at the zoo?
The VR did a nice job of keeping this sharp with the 300mm at 1/90 sec. The eye is the attention point for me in this image. |
