I like the way you made the frame for this shot. Detail is fine in this shot too. The beady red eyes are wild looking. I guess you forgot to use "red eye reduction" LOL.

This is a nice sharp shot. There must be a story behind the toy soldier. It looks like an item from the 1930's. The BG color helps to make the little man stand out.

Composition makes this shot for me. The way the leaves and bud accent the curves of the bug are very nice. Great POV for this shot.
That Sigma serves you well for this kind of shooting.

That's a bright little flower. I like the leaves on the plant in this shot. It's a trick to get the white to look right without blowing it out when shooting white flowers like this. I can see detail in some of the petals, but not in all of them. It may be my monitor, or the resize that makes the lower ones look washed out here.

Nice composition and a good idea to use the match for both size and composition and to add a little color. It even has a little "H" for Hajeka on it.
I do the same thing with my P&S when I can't see the lettering on something small. It's also a great way to get the model and serial numbers of things when you need to have them for later.

I like the white that looks almost like frost or snow in this shot. The red stem seems unusual, but I know little about roses.

The long pistols are interesting in this shot. You could use a shot of one of those leaves for a good DOF demo shot. It's impressive the way the focus shows up on the spotted leaves.
They bloom in Feb and March here in Florida. I have a big one growing just outside my bedroom window.

Taking-a-Drink

The centered composition works nicely for this subject. I like the little antennae balls. The blur and "noise" in the BG works fine for me. It puts the insect on the front burner that way. I like it.

Roz, you are going to have these little fellows eating out of your hand soon. They are actually less aggressive than most people think, at least the ones here are.
That's a lovely sharp close up of this one! The colors are great!
