This has the gentle color tones and softness to it that a lot of your low light photos seem to have. It's a sort of magic to get this "just right" blend of the colors and softness and still keep enough detail to have the essence of the moment come out in the shot.

These little guys are hard to photograph, the way they run around, and they are usually pretty skittish as well. Focus seems to be best on the little plant next to the bird. I noticed that when I shoot close to level over the ground like this, that auto focus will often be fooled by things in the foreground. The dead grass does good at isolating the subject in this shot.
