Ahh, the old ink blot psyco test LOL. This looks like some kind of colored flame on steroids. It's a good shot for it's abstractness and great colors.

This is a lovely close up. I like that I can see the little hairs at the base of his beak.
They are difficult to photograph in the wild because birds of prey are always so alert to their surroundings, and anything moving will have their attention quickly. You must have been close, as I see your reflection in his eye.

This reminds me very much of a trip to the Rio Grande Gorge in New Mexico a couple of years ago. I lost a small bag with 2 lenses in it down on the rock face, and had to climb the couple of hundred yards up and down a few times before I found it. I found it by looking back through the images in my camera, then following the original track by using the images as a guide. My monopod was a very useful tool for this kind of trekking, as it could be used as a third leg for stability while doing the moves from rock to rock, and to test for loose spots.

Sweet lines in this shot make it almost look as if the window is floating in space. Nice find. I wonder if the builder thought about this when it was being designed?

Of all of the street scenes in this file, I think that I like this one best for the overall point of view, the awesome background, and the powerful dash of color with the truck. Even in B&W this would be a strong image, and a very "typical tropical" looking scene.
