Nice close up. I didn't know that you were not afraid of bears. What's that second one up to back there? I thought that they did that in the woods. : )
Actually this is a pretty good shot. I like the composition and the good use of DOF to isolate the main subject while keeping enough environment to give the shot some context. I would guess that you also got a few of those "fill the frame face shots," which would have made it look as if there was only one bear.

This is a very good candid shot of an unhappy scene. You processed it perfectly for the subject and composition to be presented boldly.
Street life is hard here, and it must be very hard there in Argentina.

Nice use of light and dark areas to compose a very relaxed looking scene. Congrats on the fine image, and that it was recognized as being exceptional. You were fortunate to be where you could have that clear blue sky to the west of your position.

The spots of color are so good in this shot. It looks like it may be a museum scene. In any case, the red gives it a lot of life, though no one is in the shot.

I notice that it is I minutes after X, which seems a little odd. : )
It's just not that exciting of a subject is possibly the problem. I would have tried to compose with more in the shot, perhaps a wider view, maybe same focal length and further back, so that the top of the clock tower would show in the shot, to help the tower look complete.
Here is a recent one of the local tower which is similar, but has more in it for interest, and shot at a different time of day.

The amazing thunderhead and the wonderful rural foreground make this shot a treat! You did a fine processing job on this as well. The blue almost all the way around the cloud help it to stand out beautifully.

This is interesting in the way the steps seem to just float in the background, which makes it seem as though they go right off across the sky.
