Talita by LelezComment: She is a bird dog, so I understand her interest in the birds. |

img_17764-alpaca head2-s4w.jpgby rozComment: Roz, this is a superb shot. Your processing looks like a shot done with a shadow box back in the day of silver and chemistry. Way cool, and love the critter in it too. |

No Guard Railby SheryllComment: It strikes me in this shot that the limbs are blown off the one side of most of the trees. That is a pretty steep grade. I hope that you were not driving as you shot this one. |

Oasisby SheryllComment: The title fits this one perfectly. I was impressed with the way the vegetation closely follows the available water in arid places like this. I like the layered perspective of water, green, and desert in this shot. I also notice how most of the living is done in the green area. |

Farm Countryby SheryllComment: The geometry of curves and depth in this shot is eye catching. I also like the subject and setting. If I were to edit it, I would try to bring out at least a little detail in the trees on the right side. |

GrandCoulee 4by SheryllComment: This is pretty abstract looking. I like the colors, and it is different enough that even the thumb sized image grabs my curiosity. Thanks for posting about what it actually is. I sort of thought that it might have been light or laser shining on water above the dam. |

Color coordinatedby MelethiaComment: Good find. One pair works the inbound lanes, and the other works outbound traffic, just like the red and green markers for boat traffic.
I just made that up, but it sounded ok. : ))

Moss Frame #2by pixelpigComment: Cool, a "refind" image. This would be worth going back when they are slow, and getting a perfect reshoot for later use as a frame and BG. I can see doing it the other way too, and put the frame with the brick inside over another shot of something else. |
