If your P&S gives you a choice, you can use incandescent or tungsten W/B to get a nice blue sky at night. This one looks good in the tone that it has, but it is not evident that it is a night shot. I like the willow branches. I always have trouble deciding what to focus on for this type shot when I am shooting with my SLR.

River and Highway

This is a lovely scene. It looks sort of like a well done model railroad scene. I would guess that camera shake is more evident than noise in this shot. My feelings about the quality is that it looks fine. The natural bit of haze in the air may have you thinking that there is noise in the shot.

It's nice that the three in front lined up in the same plane, so that they are all sharp. It looks like overcast light too, which keeps the shadow areas from being too dark.

Point n' shoot cams seem to do a fine job with macro shooting. This shot has good detail.

Nice scene. I like the great DOF that the P&S cams can get because of their small sensors. This is a good example of that.
That place certainly looks barren and dry.

That's very sharp and nice. The color of the deer makes it stand out against the background nicely.
