Just before I took this photo, both of these bears started clicking and swaying their heads, then they started walking my way, so I quickly shot the photo and got back in my car.

A few minutes later, one chased the other around the surrounding open field for a few minutes and then they disappeared into the forest.

It turned out they weren't angry with me but were actually upset with each other.

I'm not a big fan of seeing the bears go through the garbage as well, but they sure are large, impressive beasts.

I think that you made the right decision to get back into the car, even though they may not have been upset about you being there.

I sort of like you shot, tho it makes me very, very sad.
Such great creatures eating garbage.
I have to say it is not my experience that bears first instinct is to attack, but the car is not a bad thing to have close by. I love the pose of the one on the right.
Gosh we are ruining are world quickly : (
Anyway good capture

You're a brave soul ...It must be fun to see bears that are not locked up in a zoo.

Oh, my, garbage dumps must be heaven for bears! I don't blame you for clicking and running. Bears are Not To Be Messed With.
