Oh Cool! A "Yellow Bellied Buzz Off" bird! LOL It looks like he is wanting to tell you to buzz off with that big lens.
It's a good shot, and most interesting that the shadow of his beak is almost on the centerline of his breast. I hope you find out what it really is soon.

Blow hole at Blowing Rocks

I am so happy that they made this place a preserve. It is such a cool place to watch the ocean. I found it surprising how little wave action it takes to make the water gush out of the hole in the rocks like that. There are some places like this in the Bahamas too. The Glass Window, on Eluthera Island has something similar. Thanks for the memory with the two shots.

I have also found these birds to be rather reclusive unless they are accustomed to seeing a lot of people, like at a park or boardwalk. That was a good cloning job. I can't tell where you fixed it.

The focus and sharpness in this is wonderful. This Sept Wild Life S C is giving me an education in bird identification LOL.
It's impressive that I can see the horizon and blue sky reflected in the bird's eye.

It's interesting how some things just look so detailed and defined in B&W. The sky adds a lot to this shot because of the way the sky is so smooth all along the left side of the rock cliff. It's just me, but I see some parts of faces in the rocks near the base of the cliff.

The black BG really kicks the colors to the front in this shot. This is a very nice find, and a quite relaxing image to look at. It would look nice poster size in a lobby or office.
