Extraordinary capture of the colors. I wonder what this would be like if we could see a bit of the fire's origins, but I like it this way as well. The camera captured SO many shades (especially in the top center). Love it. 8

I'm not sure how color affects this shot. It's an interesting shot of the mess, but what does the blue bag have to do with anything?

I like the green egg as using color to compose the shot. However, the closest peep is overexposed and the egg isn't near the center of the shot - so it's hard to figure out what is going on - why are there three? What if you did the same thing with the two ducks (mother and father?) looking over one green egg, like "why is it GREEN?" THAT is a colorful composition! :)

I know some people wanted to 'stretch' the challenge limits with black and white, but it just doesn't work for me. This shot wasn't designed to please the average voter anyways, so - the spots are blurry, the guy is pretty easy to see so if it's camouflaged 'color' - he's deadman walkin.
