I think there is debate going on in voter's minds as it seems that the definition of horizon that most are going for is literal. However, I really love the interpretation of it that you've taken on it in this photo! Nice job!

On oddly interesting shot! I think it's the double levels to the stairs with that twist at the landing that gives it real appeal.

Strangely, this one made me feel as though I was in a car, on it's side, looking up. You must have gotten as close to the ground as you could. Oddly enough, this works well. Though a rather lackluster scene, the amount of sky and the angle work together to make it interesting.

beautiful colors and sharpness, giving this shot a pristine look (or perhaps just wishful from someone still buried in SNOW! LOL)

Love the semi-circular shape to the water area. The highlighted horizon stands out well.

LOL...yeah, wondering if it's the water sinking or the boat. Beautiful, fiery colors and nicely silhouetted horizon.

Personally, I think that the blurring of the background trees tends to fit perfectly with what has been portrayed in this shot. This man's world may well be a 'blur' to him...or from one dream state to another, with everything blending in but his immediate surroundings since this is likely the only things that he feel connected to. At that moment, his only connection is to the bench and his own belongings.

Out of the tons of photos in here that have this type of a theme, I really think that this one has depth. Congrats on this capture!!! Nicely done!!!

Love the fact that this butterfly was captured in its natural surroundings as a whole as opposed to a shot that has a blurred out background. The colors set the mood and the warmth of tones to it, really make this shot lovely and inviting!

GREAT JOB in taking that through a window! I think it adds tremendously to the photo as it tends to concentrate the focus onto the squirrel's face and hands and eyes more, blurring out the rest of the body to some degree. Really nicely captured and done!
